What is VOC, formaldehyde and how does it affect health?

VOC and formaldehyde are chemicals you find in things like paints, glues and some types of wood. When they get into the air inside breathing them in for a time can make you feel sick. You might get a sore throat, a headache or feel tired. We try to use VOC and low-formaldehyde stuff in our carpentry jobs so the spaces we make are safe and healthy to be in.

What are the methods low VOC and formeldehyde in carpentry?

We pick materials that don't give off chemicals like certain kinds of boards and water-based paints. We also try not to use glues and sealants that give off a lot of fumes.. We make sure there's good airflow when we're working so the air doesn't get stale. This way the finished product looks great. Is safe too.

Are we able to conduct emmission testing before and after installation?

Yes we can do air testing at your place before. After we do our work. This way you can see how cleaner the air is. It's especially useful for places like hospitals, schools and hotels where clean air's really important.

Will it be costly to have carpentry fabricated and install using low VOC and formaldehyde materials?

It's not super expensive. These kinds of materials are more available now so they don't cost that more than regular materials. We're upfront about the costs and the benefits. Like cleaner air. Feeling good about your choices. Are worth it.
